"Carole started the session by showing us examples of her brilliant work. She was so enthusiastic and got us all excited with her ideas. We all set off painting, printing and drawing and we thoroughly enjoyed the morning."
Rosie showed us some of her work, creating great interest in her encrusted pebbles.
"For someone like me, who hides away from hand embroidery, I really enjoyed it (even though I made up my own stitches). New skills were gained and I can’t wait to do more."

Ann Reading- Suffolk Puff Christmas Tree Decoration.
Several members who couldn’t stay in the afternoon took photographs and collected fabric circles and instructions to make a decoration at home. Other members joined the group and started the task with enthusiasm.
"A very enjoyable time making a Suffolk Puff Christmas Tree. It was very fiddly, especially the smallest puff but the end result was good. We are always learning something new and I am looking forward to hanging the decoration on the tree."
"As a late comer to the group, it was really great to be able to see everybody’s lovely trees to encourage me to complete
mine.
Next month we are not at St. Andrews. Our Christmas lunch will be at Samlesbury Hotel. Don’t forget your competition entry; a Christmas decoration to hang on the tree.
Keep stitching; our exhibition is only four months away.
