Notes
If you wish to design a map piece you need to come up with an idea of what you would like to map - a favourite place or town, journey, garden, allotment, even your own street.
Don't be too ambitious as you will finish up spending all your time designing and not getting to the construction. Please bring some photos of your place, your own pictures, from the Internet or magazines to use as reference.
If you like drawing, sketches would be helpful but not essential. The quality of the image is not important. Don't forget the surrounding landscape if you are going to include it.
You may want to do a bird so you would need to bring pictures of the bird, or draw an imaginary bird, and pictures of plants and trees for backgrounds would be helpful
